DNS

Significa Domain name System, es un sistema de nombres de dominio de
nomenclatura

jerárquica que asocia información variada con nombres de dominio.

Su función más importante es traducir direcciones IP a nombres de dominio y
viceversa asociados a los equipos conectados a la red. 

El DNS nació de la necesidad humana de recordar fácilmente los nombres
de dominio conectados a una red.

INSTALACIÓN

Como primer paso vamos a inicio y luego a las propiedades de la

computadora, posteriormente damos clic en cambiar la configuración.

As a first step we will start and then to the properties of the computer, then click on change settings.

Damos clic en cambiar y en esa ventana configuraremos el nombre de la
computadora que en este caso será “servidor”

We click on change and in that window we will configure the name of the computer that in this case will be "server"

Configuraremos de igual manera el grupo de trabajo y
aceptamos cada una de las ventanas. 

We will also configure the work group and

We accept each of the windows.

Nos pedirá un inicio de sistema y aceptamos . Después vamos al equipo cliente y realizáremos el mismo procedimiento

En el grupo de trabajo le podremos el mismo que en el
servidor

Al terminar el reinicio nos vamos al equipo servidor y
abrimos redes y centros de recursos compartidos

Después nos vamos a administración de conexiones de
red

Después le damos en las propiedades de la LAN de la
conexión del área local de la cual seleccionamos el protocolo
de IP versión 4 y le damos en propiedades

Marcamos la casilla “usar la siguiente dirección IP” con lo
cual estaremos cambiando la forma automática a una estática

En la dirección IP escribiremos 192. 168. 10. 1, en la
máscara la dejaremos por defecto, y en el servidor DNS
preferido pondremos la dirección IP nuevamente y le
damos aceptar y cerramos.

De la misma manera realizamos el mismo procedimiento
en el equipo cliente por lo que vamos al centro de
recursos compartidos conexión de área local en la LAN
buscamos el protocolo versión 4 y damos en propiedades.

No le vamos a dar la misma dirección IP por la cual
escribiremos “192.168.10.2, la máscara por defecto y en
servidor DNS preferido escribiremos la dirección IP del
servidor, le damos en aceptar y cerramos.

preferred DNS server we will write the IP address of the server, we accept and close.

Nos vamos al equipo servidor y abrimos el administrador de servicio, nos vamos a funciones

Nos dará una introducción y le damos siguiente.

Nos aparecerá una lista de las funciones que podemos
agregar en el servidor y en este caso elegimos la del DNS,
marcamos la casilla y le damos siguiente.

Desactivamos firewall, por lo que nos vamos a inicio y le damos clic y en ese nos vanos a Turn Windows Firewall on or off

Marcamos la casilla off y aplicamos los cambios. 

We tick the box off and apply the changes.

Realizamos el mismo procedimiento con el equipo cliente.

We perform the same procedure with the client team.

Una vez que se instaló, nos dará un reporte del mismo y lo aceptamos.

Nos vamos a herramientas administrativas para abrir el DNS

Una vez dentro abrimos el servidor y le damos clic
derecho en la zona directa, en crear nueva zona y le
ponemos siguiente.

Asignaremos el nombre de la zona

Nos va a crear un nuevo archivo y le damos siguiente. 

Posteriormente iniciamos la nueva zona inversa, y
marcaremos la casilla IP versión

Then we start the new reverse zone, and
we will check the IP version box

Aquí nos pide la red ID, vamos a introducir los primeros
tres de la red, esta es la parte de la dirección IP del
servidor. 

Here we ask the network ID, we will introduce the first three of the network, this is the part of the IP address of the
server.

Nos creara el nuevo archivo y finalizamos. 

We will create the new file and finish.

Después abrimos el “servidorcetis.com.mx” en la zona directa y damos clic derecho.

Agregamos un nuevo Host

Vamos a añadir al servidor añadiendo su dirección IP
que en este caso la cual es 198.168.10.1

Lo agregamos y nos muestra un mensaje que nos
dice que se creó con éxito.

De la misma forma volvemos a hacer lo mismo, pero
ahora con el equipo “cliente” y al finalizar concluimos
con la zona directa.

Ahora nos dirigimos a la zona inversa, hacemos clic
derecho y ponemos un nuevo point

Buscamos el archivo correcto que este caso es “cliente”
y lo añadimos.

Como ya lo creamos en la zona directa ya está en la zona inversa.

Para verificar la funcionalidad del servicio abrimos el símbolo del sistema.

Introducimos el comando “ns lookup” pare verificar la conexión.
